I am currently a high school student with a burning passion for hockey and sports journalism. I’m a diehard Carolina Hurricanes fan and my favorite hockey player is Quinn Hughes. When I’m not watching hockey, I spend my time collecting hockey cards, watching baseball, doing schoolwork, and playing soccer.
My Story:
Growing up in relatively rural North Carolina, I didn’t experience much of hockey during my childhood. However, I quickly fell in love with the sport after seeing a few videos online. I began watching the Canes during the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs. I taught myself the rules and how to watch the sport, even getting some family members into it. Since then, I’ve been hooked and I want to further solidify and expand the beauty of hockey through journalism.

- My favorite movies are Miracle On Ice and Hamilton the Musical
- I have a pet cat named Chipper (yes, after Chipper Jones)
- My dream school is UNC Chapel Hill
